Rooted in Faith, Growing in Community
Since 1776, First Baptist Church Beamsville has been a cornerstone of the community. Founded on the generous donation of land by town founder Jacob Beam, our historic church, completed in 1858, stands as a testament to a long-held faith. We are a congregation that cherishes its rich history while embracing the future, dedicated to serving our neighbors and sharing the love of Christ.

A Legacy of Faith
Our story is deeply woven into the fabric of Beamsville. Baptist work began here as early as 1776, making us one of Canada's oldest Baptist congregations.
In 1808, town founder Jacob Beam generously donated the land for our first church and cemetery. The current beautiful brick church, a recognized historic landmark, was completed in 1858 and has stood as a beacon of faith ever since.
Our bell tower has served not only our congregation but the entire town, acting as a lookout during the First World War and its bell summoning volunteer firefighters.
We cherish this legacy and continue to build on it by serving our community today.
